Post by MadMaxetc »

I want to get a set of Valve Covers like these, but for my 460. No dice for my searches, anyone have any ideas?

Tim, call Tommie Vaughn Motorsports in Houston. I think they have a couple of new sets hanging on their parts house wall.
Ask for Woody.
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

Look at some of of the boat forums like Donzi registry or for other manufacturers that made big boats with 385 series power plants, also ebay, I've bought a couple of pairs of cast finned valve covers for $30-40 a pair, almost identical to the FMS except they have a sticker in the center blank spot, those forums are also a good place to find rare parts from Holman-Moody , most people dont know they made marine engine part's and crossed over nascar parts to marine use. They pop up on ebay often under OMC,King Cobra, Holman Moody,Mercruiser, etc. Good luck now I've given up my honey holes
here's what they look like

Why would the ebay seller call mention Mickey Thompson when trying to sell those Holley covers?
They may be similar to M/T covers, but they are obviously Holley covers....... :dontknow: :dontknow:
