Someday I'll get another slick

Nice!
Looks like they should have just poured a cement pad behind each vehicle...let it dry...then pulled them onto the cement...and left them there until the winter freeze.

My "Slickitis" affliction began here...

If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

I keep waiting for the helicopters to come in and save the day. I sure someone thought about that at one time.

(snickering to himself)
sadly though I can kind of picture myself in that same situation. When I first got my slick I managed to get it and a big backhoe stuck in the mud. Barely got them out with a big 4x4 loader.
Why didnt they just bring in a Cat though?
And Boyd... well when I was a kid and before he even got into wheels I thought he was cool. After that I never paid attention to him. I had no idea he was an idiot, I just liked a few of "his" cars.

On the show tonight, (don't really follow it coulda been a repeat) they started a T as a speed record car. I am guessing this is why they were there?
To my point, Boyd buys what was actually a pretty nice COMPLETE Model T took it apart and then just used the shell & cut it up at that!
OK I AM a Hotrodder, and am basically in the market for some old tin to rod but a nice complete car like that shoulda been restored, period! I believe firmly in old sheetmetal for a rod. The arse shoulda just bought a repop or glass body for what they were doing, woulda also been less work and if it were glass woulda been cheaper - dumbass!

Greg, I couldn't agree more! After following this post and watching last night's episode I now fully understand why Boyd Coddington is so disliked. I couldn't believe my eyes that they were cutting up a "T" in that good of condition. I've been to NSRA and Goodguy events where you could buy "over the counter" everything needed to build a dry lake bed dragster. PLUS, Boyd tried to screw the original owner on the price! I was totally disgusted!
