I'm building a 1962 Unibody shortbed for my wife. I've been working on it for three years. It has an Industrial Chassis Dakota kit that I've just installed. I've also moved the gas tank to under the bed, replaced the floors and other metal work. Here is a photo from when I bought it. More to come.

I located another 62 unibody longbed that donated it's big rear window frame and glass along with it's doors and tail gate hardware. I also got a decent used tailgate from the Pate Swapmeet that year. This is after welding in the windows and swapping out the doors.

I changed my mind on what king of truck it was going to be. wanted something that handled and drove like a newer truck. bought the industrial chassis dakota kit. it's very nice and well engineered.

Wife decided on colors. PPG Salsa Red and Kasmir. Fenders, lower valance, core support and inner fenders are bodyworked and painted.
