About ten years ago, we went to a "SAAC Does Vegas" Open Track / Car Show / Factory Tour at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the Shelby Factory.

It was really cool getting to be on the track at the same time as a lot of vintage Shelby Iron (and Aluminum) and then getting to rub elbows with the same cars and drivers at the car show.

Then the factory tour was the icing on the cake.

Lots of fun times and good memories.

Yes it was great fun at both events. I actually took a LOT more pics, but i kind of ran the highlights by you guys/gals. The red uni at B-J was of course a typical 350/350 installation. But it was the only Slick at either place so I put it in here. And they say a cat cant change his stripes

Really great pictures JC. Looks like you had a lot of fun. Now I will have to plan a trip to Las Vegas to see the Carroll Shelby Heritage Center. Looks like a fun place.

JC Great Pics,, we where in Vegas on the 17th when you posted, actually we where in Vegas 3 separate times in the that last 2 weeks, also JC I don't think they have this up by the Speedway anymore ??,, do they ?? was up there few years back, me and Kathy walked down there from the Petro's Truck Stop and went inside

They moved Shelby's shop and museum from up by the racetrack to down on the south end just off the strip. Which was a pleasant surprise since it was real close to where we were staying!

Hey Bill... lots of (envious) mention at Shelby on the tour- about your employer having his Daytona coupe that he actually drives once in a while.
