Atlanta, GA to Mount Vernon, IL to Salina, KS to Denver, CO to Richfield, UT to Sun River St. George, UT. 26 foot Penske hauling Frau, her 3 cats, her furniture and pulling the Volvo on a trailer. I will have to return to Atlanta until my retirement is final but after that its all west. I will hookup with you sometime next year. Safe travels!

While you are in Amarillo eat at Henk's BBQ. Little hole in the wall dive but great food at a real fair price. It is about a block North of I-40 on Grand Street.

Hell if I get my 65 to a point of putting exhaust on it by then I will meet you there.

Garbz, would have loved to meet up with ya and chew the fat....unfortunately, I'll be in Area 51 (Roswell NM for those who don't know) that week seeing my folks and brother. I wish you the best for your move, it'll be an adventure, for sure, and hopefully a GOOD adventure!!

The Fling J is out on 67th ave close to I-10,, I can remember when we run out there I-10 was not even there had to run Buckeye Rd. from where it is now I-17 west several miles then pick up 10 out there by Goodyear or you can take I-8 down by Casa Grande to Gila Bend exit go north back to I-10 back in the 70's & 80's, Now as far as Roswell N.M. When you come into town take the U.S. Hwy out of town going west & there used to be if it is still there a real old Junk Yard with a lot of old Fords but remember when we were there last time I swear he seen one Alien too  much but of course that week was Alien Week so the whole town was dressed up for the ocassion

Garbz, good luck with the move/trip! When you go through Springfield, MO be sure to eat at Lambert's , home of the "throwed rolls". They serve their HOT dinner rolls by throwing across the dining room at you. Excellent food and portions that even Jr can't finish.

Tom, I used that salvage yard a bunch when I was putting the 390 in my 62. The owner even sold me a trans adapter out of a truck at his house. I left Roswell a couple of days before the 50th anniversary of the crash. Town was FULL of oddballs!!
