Some of you guys aren't gonna like this;
THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!
Looks like the same late 90s smokey green as my 98 Mazda B 2500 (only new truck I ever bought), I liked that color!
Y block would be better IMHO but WOW!

That is a nice truck! Even the bed floor looks perfect. I agree with Greg on the color. I like the 64 grill in it too.

Dave, that's a 63 grille

This is just as though your mom made you your favourite birthday cake, invited all your favourite friends to the party, including that cute girl you had your eye on, you got all your favourite presents, and then your drunk uncle hauled down his pants and pinched a steamy loaf right on top the cake.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

This guy did a hell of a nice job fixing up this truck. Not as nice as Mike's or Merles, but a great job on it. I have to side with the others on one thing, and obviously he isn't in the Biz to make us Slick owners happy by any means. But that is how a lot of the shops like his who do buildups think. They do what is "easy" to their way of thinking, and not what is right. I DID get an Email about a guy who put a 460 in an old Camero as a drag car. I thought to myself, Ha, bet those blowtie buggers hated gettin their doors blown off by a real Big Block. Still, it makes me sad to see an otherwise nice truck be defiled by "using the most common bellybutton do it the same as millions of other fools do cuz
that's the way everybody I know always does it with absolutely no imagination." I don't know if we'll ever see a time when the rest of our hobby finally "gets it" and quits doing this foolishness. Until that time, or until some house bill gets passed in congress that makes it a crime to put blowtie motors in classic Ford trucks, it will still happen. Nuff Said. TR

JC, that looks just like the one in my 64(except cleaner & shinier). What's the difference in the 63 grill? Thanks, David.

i'll bet i couldn't even drive it. these cabs are small enough without foot thick lincoln seats. i'd be sitting straight up with no upper leg support and no foot room.
it is still a very sharp looking truck from the outside.
