got me on that one. went back and checked nd's decode and mines definatley 4:56. i wonder if the factory drive train can handle a 460. i'm no authority but i do know there is a big difference between a 292 y-block and a 460 when it comes to hp and torque.
that was a question that a friend of mine was asking. if the top speed is 50 or 55 mph i will be more than happy...the theam behind this truck is to go puttin around in the woods and around here you need lots of low end tork if you want to go slow and not reve up the engine. so my thought was big motor and low gears = fun truck to cruse around in the woods and around town....not so much town.....hopefully it will work out with the stock axels a friend was saying that they are pretty tuff.....i guess we will see....and yah they are 4:56... i learned what that ment a week ago....ha.........i love how on this sight everyone looks at the project from diffenent angles....I'm constintly changing my mind.....thanks and dont feel bad to tell me that im dead wrong..some times that saves my bacon
