Post by Midnight Crawler »

Im rebuilding a 64 and want to sit her down on the frame. What front end can i use to get her down. I have the 64 frame and also a twin I beam 72 frame. The 72 i can get it down but the body is still way to high for what im wanting. With cross member down my body is still 6 to 7 inchs off the ground.

The best riding I have heard is the actual crown vic frame swap, wheelbase is the same as swb

The dakota setup is probably the most recomended, 03 up cv 2nd
There was also the idea of front airbags with a 2 or 4 link setup on the straight axle

look toward the bottom of the page for pics, works just like a linked rear end but it goes on the front

I suppose you could raise the floor pans and drop the body

Yes I know all the pics are GM but it's all I could find

This guy makes the dakota kits

Welcome and you picked a good place to ask, it's all been done before
