Salamander heater issues

Post by ScottRod »

Would anyone know why, when I plug in my kerosene salamander heater, the pilot (electric) glows, fan starts, fuel squirts but DOES NOT kick on?
I'm stumped.

i use diesel in mine, and in my other wick type kerosene heater due to the high cost of k.

nothing like some persuasion.

biggest problem with those heaters is the time they spend sitting collecting dust.i have taken mine apart a few times just to blow it out and lear the filters.

I have a propane salamander, works well just can't handle the noise too long, then let the kero radiant take over between the 2 it works pretty good. If I can ever get in gear and hook up my oil furnace somebody gave me out of a mobile home, that would be sweet to just flip a switch.
