Or they really have no clue as to what the true market for these trucks is.

If it spent it's entire life in Kelowna then it should be fairly dry. I kind of suspect that it's had a repaint at some point, though...

G F L.

yet another Mercury owner who think there are crazy, rabid Americans lined up at the border, chequebooks in hand, waiting to snap up our title-less Mercurys, which they will spend months trying to register.

I have met you 2307 times, all I can say is

Good F'n Luck

VERY nice Mercury. Classic colors too....but it sure isn't worth 40+K$ USD to me.

I really like the back bumper....

What is up with those odd hub caps?

The wheels/hubcaps are NOT stock. I seriously think he was friggin' drunk/stoned when he typed up the ad, and it's supposed to be 14,500

....and I've never heard of a "252 Auto Trans" either.
I suspect it is another typo that should have read, "352 V8 engine, Auto Trans"..... I doubt it it would have a 292 engine.......

I will say that those wheels/hubcaps do NOTHING for me.... :barf:

It could be a case of the wife/significant other telling them to sell it. If it's priced OUTRAGEOUS, and I think it is, it won't sell but he/she can say they're trying.

There was a solid red 1966 at Pate (it's in my pics and the one with the owner sitting next to it). Was asking $28,000.00 USD for his.

Beautiful truck but had a few flaws. At $28K, I'd expect absolutely no flaws and even then it seems high.

For that kind of money, the block had better be cast in solid gold...
