My Pop got this truck out of a salvage yard back in the early 80's and fixed it up with a 302 and put the 3 speed on the floor. Gave it to me when I turned 19 with a motor about to blow....I helped it along and have had about five motors and two transmissions in it over a period of 6 years. Was allways my daily driver until I got married in 95 and pretty much parked it until now!!
I guess im going through my mid life...early???
I pulled her off the blocks, put the wheels back on and got her started!!
And have been playing with her every day.
The wife look's concerned!!
I'm going the distance with her this time!

Welcome. Good Looking pics. I agree with Alan. Don't worry about the wife. I think theres a support group section on this website. I saw we have similar issues with holes in our floor board. What are you planning to do or are you not worried about it? Just asking for some ideas...Duke

Im going for new floor pans and new cab mounts.
Trying to find a good deal on a media blaster before I get started.

....It looks like a key switch off a safe door or ????

heh..heh.
You noticed that did ya?
That was one of them 19 yo moments.....
My ignition went bad and I kinda used what was laying around...the house to resolve the problem...And your right the chrome piece is from a door that was in my dads garage.
I still cant remember what I stole the switch from.
