getting started , finally !

Post by hotrodz&banjos »

started unhooking the 302 today, getting it ready to pull out. i got everything unbolted or took off except the motor mount bolts, torque converter bolts , and the manifold bolts, which i'm soaking with w.d. 40, and liquid wrench ! 12 bolts all together i think. not a bad day , considering i only expected to get my hood taken off. one thing led to another. ended up with busted knuckles and my eyes full of dirt, i enjoyed every minute of it. some of the tranny bolts were hard to get to.i still have over a month before i get my rebuilt 1969 351 windsor, bored 30 over, with a small cam. progress, i love it.
