Intermittent sender/ gauge probs.

Post by 66fordtrucknut »

My fuel gauge or sender is intermittently not working, really no pattern to it. Whats the most likely culprit,? Ground? Thanks.

I would check the connection at the fuel sender, then make sure the sender has a good ground.

That happened with my 78', replaced it with one my extras, starting to run out of spares. The 78's wouldn't work at all, thats what wierd about can go down the road and it will start working again.
