Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Sorry for the confusion about the year. I know my slick is a 66, it's just looks exactly like the 62 I had 40 years ago!

Phil - No, I won't be ready for Hot August Nights given my limited time and $$. For now there a few things to take care of to make it a real daily driver. Then I'm just gonna enjoy driving it and using it for a while. :)

welcome.gif from Northern California, David! I live in Davis, just over the mountains from you, and I drive into Reno several times a year. You've come upon a very nice and pretty rare Ranger and Camper Special combo. You will find some excellent resources here, and some really great fans of these slicks.
