Instrument Panel
Instrument Panel
Hey Everyone, Just thought I would ask around I just bought a 66 that I'm going to use on my 79 4x4 frame. I need a few things like the complete instrument panel either custom cab or just the basic version. Please let me know if someone has anything. Thanks RustyW. ( only using cab and front end )

There are a lot of things you can do with your stock panel.
Here are a couple of ideas. Lots of us have put instruments in the side bullets, but I blacked out the idiot lights and stock gauges and put LED's in where the high beam and turn signal lights are.
If you'll check my album, you can see how I did it.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

That's a good ideal Skip but I don't have any of the panel or the wiring but I can deal with the wiring. Thinking about using the complete harness out of the 79. I will probably do something like that once I get a panel and speed-o. Iceman I sent you a PM, and just for my own knowledge are PM's better I'm kinda a caveman when it comes to computers! Thanks Everyone I think I'll post some pics later tonight.

Rusty.
I'm not sure what you're asking.
Are you using an instrument panel from the original Slick?
What exactly are you wanting to know or trying to get as a final result.

/.
What do you want to to with it. I can build you one like mine, but you need to be more specific as to what you want.

I think Anthony has one he's going to sell me but I will still like to find others if you guys have any, maybe putting several together I can end up with a very nice and complete one.

How about this? It's complete with wiring harness. We found it in a yard near Brian Taylor's house (another board member). If your interested.. he can go price it for you.

Yes I believe it was sitting on a Fridge. It looks alot like the panel on an N too, truck if I remember. It looks to be about the same size as our panels.
Next time Brian and I go out there, (if its still there) I'll take an instrument panel out of a Slick and see if it will fit in the hole and take pics.

That is a Fridge panel and will not fit our Slicks

I hope I'm won't get in trouble postings these pictures here. If I need to move them just let me know. First is of my 64 that I drive for a work truck and the 66 cab is going on the 79 F150 SB frame. I'm using the floor board from the 79 in the 66.
