You are not shy on projects, I see trucks like that at the salvage yard here. I need to cut a floor like that to patch mine.

4 inch angle grinder, was the tool..I just went slow and freehand cut it all....I am having a terrible time getting any of the after pics to come off this old disk..they are in a BMP file type and keep locking up my pc..

By the way this is Dons 64...here on the site.. my old truck.....

I need to find a hopefully free program to convert them

But I have a few programs that are supposed to be able to deal with BMP files..but having no luck...hopefully they are not corrupt or something...

Here's a great program I've used for years. It's fast and free ... http://www.irfanview.com/ ... it's great for quick cropping, etc. I bet you probably can do a batch conversion of the BMPs to JPGs. It looks like you do it by File - Batch Conversion/Rename. I hope this helps

I downloaded the irfanview program...didn't help..

I am seeing now some of the BMP files are opening ..others are giving me some message along the line of ..Doesn't fit parameters?

Not sure what the issue is, but when I try to get at the picture with different programs it freezes things up until I eject the disc from the pc, very strange....

Weird ... but that's what computers are for ... to frustrate you, it seems like. Maybe a virus got on the disk or the files got corrupted. Maybe try a virus-check on the disk (AVG-free ... http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage ... if you don't have a Antivirus program already)

I went and measured the scraps , looks like 13 inchs up front..6 in back.

Someone measured for me and posted what a stock shortie was..whether I got it dead on I am not sure...

Kid always liked the SIX POCKET SHORTY..(his name for it)
