Gatkpartz6179...pete UPDATE !!!!!

Post by dragginwagon »

not sure where to put this but i need some help/ info.
i meet and paid for some parts sept 12th from pete and since then i havent heard a peep...
paid 150.00 cash for a rear valance and ends of a unibody bed, shook hands on the deal, was told he'd cut it off and have it taken near chattanooga where i could pick it up in a week or so.
well its been a few weeks now, no return emails, wont answer the phone... nothing. i live 4-5 hours away and really hard to get back down there, wondering if anyone knows something. not sure if there's been trouble, if im just being screwed, or what... pretty frustrating

any help or info would be appreciated
thanx
chris

Pete's a stand-up guy from my experience. I've gotten parts from him 3 different times. The only thing is, he sometimes over-extends himself at work and on his hobby (he had every bit of 10 slicks in various states of repair PLUS a boatload of parts the one time I visited him), and can get behind, sometimes. Try and PM him from this site, and if you have his number, call/leave a message with your contact info. I would be surprised if he's trying to scam you in any way.

I wouldn't worry about Pete. His word is good. Give him time, and he'll show up

Only had one dealing with him and it was legit. Interesting, but legit. I'd do business with him again. Give it time, he'll get to you.

My bet is he will be back to you pretty soon. He odes get busy and last I knew I think he was working as an underwater welder - that may mean he doesn't make it home everyday.

I have bought from Pete, he is a stand-up guy. He lives a long way from a UPS pick up point so larger items require a really long round trip for him. Sorry it is taking so long but he will come through for you too.

Sorr to hear Pete's got medical issues, but glad there is a good explanation for the delay on your parts.
