Parking Brake Handle replacement
Parking Brake Handle replacement
So I have the broken remains of the original parking brake handle still attached and I've received my replacement handle. Anyone have a trick for getting the steel retainer post/pin out? I can get a grab on it with pliers but there's no chance it's coming out by just pulling on it.

I drilled mine from the top, down to the top of the pin. Then I drove the pin out from the top with a punch. You have to remove the whole assemby so you can get room to attack it on a drill press.
