AC

Got AC installed today and had it charged.
Worked fine.
It's a Frigid Air that was installed by the Ford Dealer in 66.

Is that a little anvil you have for a shifter knob? Whats the make of the A/C unit?

Thank you for the replies!
AC is a FrigiKing. It was in the truck when I bought it.
I sent it to Classic Auto Air and they reconditioned it.
The shifter knob is a small anvil.
It was cast by Lawler Foundry in 1933.
Lawler is located in Birmingham Alabama and is still in business.
Handle on left side of steering wheel is a Warner trailer brake.
When I was a kid working on a cattle farm we had a International pickup with a brake like that. It had the advantage of being able to hold your brakes on while starting off on a hill.
If it cain't be fixed with a sledge hammer it must be an electrical problem!

Hey Blackwater...I tried to figure out what year/spec your truck is from your profile but couldn't find anything. What size engine do you have? I was looking into air for ours since we are in Sunny South Florida. We are running a 223 and I spoke with the guys at Classic. They said there should be no problem adding air but they did not have a compressor bracket that would work with the engine. Just curious if that is a 223.

240 or 300 has the manifold on the passenger side
223 or 262 has manifold on drivers
(in the USA )
that is not a 223
