I like that. That looks great finished, I wish Ford would take notice and make some new "old style" vehicles. All the other auto manufacters are. I like to see that in a mag.

IMHO that is the WORST possible way to 2 tone a Slick but it's his truck not mine, aside from that pretty cool. Relax Kid, your variation on that 2 tone looks Great! I know that the Explorers came in 2 wheel drive, wonder if the Mountaineer was a 2 or AWD, ALL 5.0 Explorers & Mountaineers were AWD not 4WD if not 2WD.

I've seen a '56 Merc pickup swapped onto a Lincoln Aviator 4x4 frame, and I didn't particularly care for it. I feel the same way about this one.

What kills these type of builds for me is the use of late-model interiors. Overall, it's a nice build, but I think a lot of the character of an old truck is lost when the interior is replaced with modern plastic and vinyl.

The other thing that bugs me is the late-model taillights. S-10 taillights have got to be one of the least aesthetically pleasing designs I've seen. Not ugly per se, just really bland. It's like change for the sake of change.

Worst two-tone ever, and the running boards don't suit the truck. Interesting and well-built though.

I don't mind the interior, but he fell short with the door panels. They don't follow the 'newer car upgrade' theme at all. Plus, I want to know how many times he's whacked his elbow on that arm rest.

I agree, the two tone, taillights & running boards just ain't cuttin' it...but to me, the absolutely worst part about the whole thing is those stupid stick-on Lund hood scoops! :x I hate those, they're on EVERYTHING! They're just as bad of a dumb fad as dayglo pink stuff was in the early 90's.
