non vented gas cap?

non vented gas cap?

every time i walk past my slick's drivers door i smell gas from the vented gas cap. has anybody made there truck environmently friendly with a non vented cap & a vent hose to the engine? i tried a search & didn't find anything.

The vent should only let air IN to the tank. If you smell gas then you need to get a new cap and/or check the hose from the filler to the tank.

If you seal off the tank then you won't get any gas out of it. (Thumb over the top of the straw type thing)
