F100 Brand New in 1963
F100 Brand New in 1963
I was wondering if anybody had some sort of idea how much my truck may have been when it was brand new in 1963? It's a Ford F100, original color was wimbledon white, has a 223 engine, 3 on the tree, regular cab, one visor on driver side, am radio, not a unibody,no door pockets and nothing fancy. Just really curious, thanks for any help.

I've posted this before. But here is the original bill of sale for my '65 F250. I think the "Camper Pkg" was the dealer installed saddle tanks because it isn't a Camper Special truck.
BTW, you only have one visor because the passenger visor was a $4.50 option.

Everything I've been able to find on my '63 Uni Custom Cab is $1700. It came with the 292 V-8, chrome knobs, radio, manual trans. But, I'd be more inclined to believe the other guys since they've probably been around slicks much longer than I have and more than likely have a library on the trucks to be envious of.

i would say bigmike's truck was a well optioned high dollar truck back in the day.
my 68 custom cab f100 with a 360 3 speed was about that much.

My old locker had the old air defense Klaxon warning tone list stuck to the back of it along with Ellington switchboard list of numbers like that. I think I have them tucked away someplace.Michelle wrote:Remember the exchange names and numbers. Ellington's main swithcboard number was HUdson)4-1600.
