I got my floor panels in so I should be ready to cut and put the new ones in. I ordered them from Flashback F100's and they seem to be pretty good (USA made of course). Here's a pic of them:

C6 Tranny

Post by Santi »

Got the tranny off of the 460, cleaned it up and repainted it. Putting new filter and gasket also. Everything looks good from what I can tell so far.

Engine bolted to frame and more

Post by Santi »

So I've been working on the slick some more off and on when I get time. Got the motor painted and putting things back together. I got the new motor mounts installed on the motor and the frame and now have the engine bolted to the frame. I went with Ford Red as the color, new chrome oil pan and gaskets, new bolts, and got the pressure plate and torque converter back on. Still gotta put everything back on the motor but waiting for more funds to buy new parts..lol Check out the pics..

Stripping, cleaning up, and painted:

Moved the crossmember back but still need to figure out where to bolt it once I got the tranny hooked up:

Its coming along slowly. Thanks for all the help and all comments are welcome lol

Engine going back together and tranny mounted

Post by Santi »

Ok I got the Tranny mounted to the crossmember. Drilled new holes and had to move it back a little for the C6. Got a new tranny mount and installed by drilling holes in the crossmember to mount to tranny.

Motor is also going back together and is looking more and more complete. What do you think?
