Seen pics of Army trials where they drove a Jeep onto a tarp in shallow water, then folded the tarp up around the Jeep and towed it out into the lake. It did float! But that truck would be nose-heavy without sealing the engine compartment. The box has enough displacement to float 1 1/2 tons or so, the cab another 1/2 ton or more. But it would go down by the nose.

I live in the PNW....and here in Oregon , I see these kind of adds all the time.... You have to give him an A for effort....but 6000.00 is a bit steep I'd say...? Good salesmanship right....
