I need to replace all of the bushings etc on a 66 f250. I have it all torn down and am replacing radius arm and I-beam bushings. I went this far so I may as well put disc on the front and power steering as well as i have '73 f250 stuff.
If possible please provide the bolt torque specs for all the front end.
exm:
Raduis arm bolt, I-Beam bushing, (Radius,i-beam,spring bolts), tie rod, drag link, pitman arm, steering box, etc, etc, etc.

I have been searching online but cannot find it .
Would appreciate the info.
thank you.

I'd say tighter is better without breaking off the head of the bolt.
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Tighten them down till they twist off, then back off half a turn!

Sorry couldn't resist, I haven't used that line in years

loosrp.
Chill.
There are no torque spec's for suspension pieces that I know of. And I've been at this for more years than I care to count.
Make them as tight as you can with hand tools.
Its not rocket science.
We're talking about trucks.... Ford trucks, that have been around for more than 40 years.
So dude, crank them down, just don't twist the heads off anything you're tightening.
Actually, if you're big enough that you can snap the heads on some of these suspension fasteners with hand tools, I don't want to talk to you anyway. 8)
Have an adult beverage and enjoy your hobby. Don't make it more complicated than you have to.
Now; mail in your five dollar consultant fee, I don't make house calls.
