hey guys, just got back from central illinois and didn't really have time for the internet while there.
i really like the greaserama show. did anyone notice the two blown buckets in the rain? guess what, neither one gave a crap. there were lots of rag tops and no tops there sitting in the mud, in the rain. that's what i love about the show. real good people in a real loose setting having a real good time. i'll be back next year too!

OK, I keep thinking I missed something!
Anthony, are you referring to the L600 Dodge?
These things bring back old memories!
The cabs were largely galvanized and quite comfortable, and the relatively short wheelbase made them quite manueverable.
There are several around that have been converted into roll-backs.
In the late sixties, Tommy Ivo had a similar L700 to haul his dragsters. It had 'see-through" sides to show off the dragsters.
It made a lasting impression, but probably not as much as his showing up (after a race at the old Houston Drag Raceway) at our local hang-out to do some uh, Street Cruising in his hemi charger.
Well, once again, I digress, but if indeed you were referring to the L600, there is a wealth of information and pics on the web.
Google L600, or "TV" Tommy Ivo for starters.

I guess that would be what I was referring to... All I know is that is has the same front end as the same year dodge's of my Econoline pick-up.... Since I had never seen anything like it I just guessed that "the mopardude.com" had made this beast out of an A-100 Pick-up... any way, it is still the coolest pic I have seen in a while.......
