opinions on wheel adapters
I have a 65 f100 with a 5x5.5 bolt pattern, I want to put boss 338 wheels on the truck, but they do not make them with the ford bolt pattern. Does anyone have any experience with wheel adapters? any info or opinions would be appreciated
I have used them and alot of my Mustang friends have used them with great success. I have a set of 1" thick ones from my old slick that were never used. I changed to Crown Vic front end and 82 F100 rear end and got the car bolt pattern as part of the deal. Contact if you need spacers. I'd make you a good deal on them.

Mustang studs are 1/2-20 same as the trucks... The adapters do use a smaller (3/4" hex) nut to bolt the adapter to the axle so it can fit down into the holes of the adapters. The studs that attach the wheels should be 1/2-20 with a 13/16" hex same as the truck originally had. At least mine are that way, and my 07 Mustang still has 1/2-20 lug nuts.
