going through the new truck and the list grows

got the truck finially and it is in its storage box till i can sort out some stuff. brand new battery in it was dead. . looks like the gen is cooked . did some research on the 1 wire and a three wire gm . looking at using the three wire gm. as will need to power some items futher down the line. so a trip to the pick and pull and some mcgivering . drum brakes up front being replaced with disc as soon as the brackets arrive. upping to power asst and dual res. master with a line lock. i have a master with 7 diaphram from gearheads that didn't go with the 64 galaxie when it sold.it is paid for so going to try to make it work.
have s/s long tube headers that were for the galaxie , i also have a set of steel long tubes so headers are going on the truck. the exhuast is straight with cherry bombs dumping infront of the rear tires . as much as i like the sound of the fe need to plumb it to the back with some mufflering . will get electric cut outs for the hooligan in me , but need to be able to drive the truck to work at 5 am. the engine in it is a 1965 390 fe with a bunch of work reciently done so am going to hold off putting the fe(built much more agresive) i have in the pole barn in. nuff on future projects. 1/22/12 is pulling the radiator (secured with one screw!!!) and doing some rust prevention on the its supports and securing the battery. need to get a nap in this afternoon . the old 97's are playin gthe state theature and i am going and planning on making it to work on monday... will dig out the camerra to document the mod's. also have a sway bar for the galaxie i will try to make work on the truck same rear ends on both.

band was awsome! radator out and washed prepped for painting . cleaned the supports and osphode the bare or rusty in prep for some por15 wed night . need it up and running for sat's sarasota car show.

Great looking stepside, 4-wheel disc brakes will be great stopping power, good price,headers will help gas mileage . Like your paint color. TONY

the galaxie stuff wouldnt match up so have new power asst master being delivered today . got the brackets kit from cpp. will look into the rotors and get the calipers and stuff this weekend. and do the install following one. the galaxie headers look like they will clear but buget blown.
