Flashers

Post by F100Toy »

Has anyone had to replace both the turn signal and hazard flashers? It seems the Tung-Sol brand is not readily available and I would think other brands that are available would replace the OEM. Anyone replace theirs? Brand? Part numbers?

Thanks

Turn signal : 552 Basically universal/standard # very common.

Hazzards : 3 prong I think 537 [alternating type]NAPA P/N: EL13A2 getting harder to find, if you have 2 prong, 552 will work as well.

old post, I know, didn't know what luck if any you had.

It's all in the switch, if you get a ford truck one, from ebay of junk yard it should be straight forward plug and play, after market uses 4 wires to each signal lamp wire ie:lf,rf,rr & lr power to switch ground [to make ind knob light up]. If you need, I can get after market switch p/n tonight, got one in my garage and maybe even a pic too.
