I paid $3000, Shipping was $800. I put in a good 3:00 open diff, disk conversion, detailed the 429 and spent $750 on the C6 rebuild.
I then sold it for $3000.

Hard to see it again. I still miss it.
Someday I'll get another slick :(

Brian! Hope you are well!

Its been repainted. Even a scuff n spray costs a few grand these days.

I gotta question though. A guy I know blew me some greif because I questioned this guy's price.
What is the going rate on a truck like this? I say 3k

Now imagine one with a quality paint job (assuming this one is driver quality-by the dents he left I am guessing that's what it is).
I still say the value is low. Maybe 4 or 5k.

Have values gone up at all since I left the party?

I can tell you it still has the dent below the tail light and the one in the fender lip.
It had the cab mounts rebuilt but it was fixed in-sag so the fendergap is off.
I will assume he fixed the footwells to some extent and maybe welded up the tailgate that was rusty.

I still say 3k.
Someday I'll get another slick :(

there is another guy just listed his uni for $3000. I can't compare the two without looking at them but they are probably more in the 3-4k and the 6k. I mean if he can get it than more power to him. but once you reach the 6k-7k mark, you can find a really really top notch painted and clean truck.

Sounds like one of those cheap blow over paint jobs to me - MAACO has them on sale for $249.00 here right now.
Maybe $3500 since he has put some work in it - NOT 6300 though.
Good to see you on the board Phil!
