If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

I like those too. Not to hijack this, but I paint too, but a loose style and usually on location.
Here's an oil painting I did on location one morning outside at "Thelma's Bar" next to "Bill's Jumbo Burger" in Tulsa. My old 64 sits on the left. Both Thelma's and Bill's have been around for LONG time. I've never been inside the the bar (tough crowd, I'm sure) but been to Bill's a bunch. These are old landmarks in my book and will probly be gone someday by way of "progress". I thought my truck fit right in.

You should post this on HAMBs weekly Art Archive.
Nice!
Thanks! glad you like it, I read the HAMB once in while, maybe I will put it on there thanks for the suggestion Those guys have some great stuff. Again don't mean to hijack but here's more of my work if anyone is interested. Not car related though. So boot me out if you want, this ain't a sales pitch. http://www.frakesfineart.com
Bird55, that is a pretty "slick" impressionist style painting you did! Kind of line Monet, except he did not have the cool subject matter available. I have alot of respect for the artful folks. I can do anything if it can be drawn with straight lines, caulked or welded. Those who can make stuff look real are really talented in that regard.
