Hey guys, just got a quick question. So I've been looking for something to paint my truck to controll the rust and also paint over. My dad found something called "Rust Encapsulator" from eastwood but he said it was kinda pricey. Because of that he told me to check a John Deer dealer to look for something similar, so I did. They had something called "Over Rust" from Eagle Industries and for a quart it was $35. So the question is doesn anyone know about this product, does it even work Or does anyone know of something cheaper to revert rust.

Re: Rust stop
Remove rust, clean metal, epoxy prime, topcoat with paint. With any rust inhibitor you just have to be careful and think through what you will end up putting on top of it as far as primers and color. Some of these cure-all rust preventers are a paint's worst nightmare and you could end up doing it all over again.
