Help!! mustang 11 crossmember questions for 62' f100
i have a 62' lwb uni-body that just went under the knife. i plan on using a mustang ll corss-member on bags. i was wondering what cross-member everyone uses, and if they even made one for my truck. i have used hiedts before but never on this late of ford. i would have to use universal one which are a pain. i used one on a 63 dodge build and would much rather have a would in one like the ones they use for 50's chevy. i was also wondering if anyone had info on my trucks wheel base and rear track width of the stock axle. thanks everyone!

i dont want a hub to hub. i am looking for just the crossmember, the hiedts one for a 55 chevy lines up with holes on the frame and then welded in. those all require cutting of the crossmember and upper mounts

its not a bolt in crossmember it just has tabs that align it up and then you weld it in

Re: Help!! mustang 11 crossmember questions for 62' f100
Slickfan: Speaking of not reading the post, it wasn't even hunter who brought up the dakota crossmember in the first place.
All that aside, all anyone has done thus far is offer you suggestions, but I expect that if this is the kind of response they get, that will not last long
usually we welcome new guys.....today I'm not so sure...........
