More progress on Nadine's face lift

Post by Uncle Skip »

No way to two tone a flair side that looks right so I'm going monochrome. All white.
Front fenders, splash pan, header and grill, and the bumper are now done. The bottom of the doors (I'm repainting the entire cab) will be stripped of blue paint and shot next.

As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.

Skip, love the red wheels with the old style caps. My 57 has a set going on it similar to that. Probably see them on my flatbed as well eventually. All white on Nadine will look so "CLEAN!" Liking the way you are going with her Unc. Never seen a flareside truck other than one pure stock all white that I can recall. And a 2 tone paintjob on a flareside will usually will be a white roof and pillers down to right below the rear window. Only way I have seen them anyhow. But I haven't seen them all. TR

I finally got the stick on disks for my orbital sander so tomorrow things are going to get prepped and primed for more painting (only because I've been really lazy about doing the prep work).
And if I can get just a little rain style moisture to knock the pollen out of the air, I'll paint too. If not, I'll wait til I do.
Wish me luck and watch my six, I'm going in..............

Sure be looking good at Slickstock :P Ya know you gotta go! At these fuel prices, a Gear Vendors might be a good investment, and you can always hang a swamp cooler in the window!
