Re: cab mounts rusted out
Well Biff being as you have a 65 life aint so bad . Look around the perimiter of your front body mounts and you will see a flange all the way around that was spot welded on . Simple solution lift the front of the cab off of the frame slightly . Drill out the spot welds ( you can get spot weld cutters from Harbor freight . Order new front mounts from Dennis Carpenter or Toms F100's . Set the new ones inplace and weld them on
. Much easier than a 61-64 .

Re: cab mounts rusted out
rusty, ive done a search through some threads, spent about an hour or so looking and couldnt find what i was hoping to find. i have no doubt its in here. i'll keep searching since i have to order the mounts and a rag joint. ive got some time to find it. i need to rebuild the steering column as well, and for good measure i'll do the king pins too. ive already got a brake booster and master cylinder on order. i'll be putting some time and money into this thing much sooner than i expected. but hey its exactly what i was looking for.
