Fender Adjustment

Post by bear »

Anybody have a trick on lining up fenders? I keep getting a gap under the cowl and above the fender. The cab had new floors and cab mounts welded in ten years ago. Tried cranking down on the cab mount bolts, and that did help some. Thanks for any advice, Bear

Slicks have a gap between the Fender and cowel. Maybe a 1/4 inch or so. I would not crank down to hard on the cab mounts. A little bulge in the rubber is all. IMHO!

Worked with it this afternoon. Shimmed between the cowl bracket and the bottom of the fender/ inner fender. I noticed a space for shims on the bottom of the inner fender. It is a little better. Thanks for the comments.
