I forgot to mention I got the roll pan and the tail gate skin ordered today I'm excited for those to get here, and I think I might have changed my mind about autoloc vs avs because I really like the autoloc all in one push button start and hands free entry and lock system, it's the one where you walk up to your car with the remote in your pocket and it senses it as pops the doors then you push to start and then when you walk away it automatically locks them, it's BADASS

That does sound like a sweet setup for sure . I am still debating on what to do on my doors . The set currently on the truck only have an outside keyed lock on the passenger door . I have another set of custom cab uni doors that has locks on both doors and yet another set of doors on another customcab truck that should have locks on both doors . I cant get to the drivers side of that one right now to see if it does .

Yes we did get picked up we are currently on season 2 we are filming season 3 now. So I have been kicking around the idea of doing door poppers and leaving the stock handle in place just cause I love how they look but idk yet?? What do you guys think? And then what do I do for tail lights. Was thinking frenched cadi lights but they will be too long, just looking for options/opinions and suggestions. Definitely wanna do something drenched though love that look

Why not french the stock lights . The door handle versus popper debate that one I cant help with still debating myself .

Thats a pretty badass idea. Another issue i have is hood hinges, i cannot use my stock hingers because they wont fit on the body dropped truck, so i need sort of a custom nice like billet hinge or something that i can mount more in the center of the fire wall instead of outside near the wheels, i have been looking at porterbuilt but they are strickly chevy and i looked at felsner and they have nothing for slicks either -_____- just another issue lol

Tyler we have several members here who have made forward tilting hoods Kevin/kstone63 actually sells a kit . Pretty sure theres a writeup on alans inthe hints and tricks section kstone started to base his off of . I will be doing a forward tilt on my hood when I get that far along .

The only problem I have with the Hoffman group/auto loc is the wireing instructions are pretty vague. I'm all for the 22s but they have to be billet or forged, no cast crap

Yea i thought about the forward tilting hood and i dont know if im really into that, i dont think it is really my style, i just wanna get some nice billet hinges that keep my hood opening stock, and they dont even have to be billet, they just need to be compact and nicely built.
I got my house of color book today am i excited to look through that, im gonna learn so much, and the possibilities are endless with them.

...and yah, HOK has some unbelievable colors, but you best check prices for epoxy primer, hi-build, sealer, color(s), catalysts, and clear, then if you haven't feinted, maybe it's within YOUR budget:):)

That is a good lookin truck . Personally I think the Cadi tails look good . I have actually been looking at the option of flush fiting my tail lights so they blend in Kevin/ Kstone did with his third brakelight . You really dont see his third brakelight until its on it is blended so well.


The grill on that one is a 64 by the way .

So I emailed eddies last night ad they responded to me this morning by saying they don't make any nor do they plan on making any anytime soon lol. So I guess I'm not gonna go that route :p I have my feelers out at a local speed shop for some hood hinges so we will see, and that Cadillac bucket kit is fucking badass, I'm definitely gonna be purchasing that, that will be so nice in the stock location, I love the way they look on the body lines. It's getting close to air bag time and I'm trying to decide on what company to use, we know some people at Air Lift but I am really in love with Accuair's eXo mount and how it holds the tank both compressors and all the air line actuators so I'm really up in the air about that

Just got a email from felser and they are a no go as well, said they have no time to manufacture some sad day haha. On a better note we got one of the wheels tubs done today and got all of the sheet metal in to do the bed floor doing the whole thing out of 18ga sheet metal and around the sides we are doing an oval shaped bead roll, it's gonna be nice and stout.
