Well if you are doing front only then the one of choice is 2003 and newer . That is the aluminum crossmember that most guys use .

I see guys adding spacers to the top of the frame. Any reason why spacers can't be added to the bottom.. I don't want my truck down in the dirt..

Yep can be done both way , spacer top or bottom.
