Nice paint, but the ford body can't hide the fact it's a GM vehicle. My guess is the guy couldn't sell his vette so he tried to hide it under the slick body with hope he could get rid of it.

The auction job - well aside from the GM parts - I can't get behind that frame work. Boxing yes, but those tubes?

The other one is nicely painted and authentic, but too much $$ to pay for a truck with single master pot drums and very ordinary parts. Even though it is a great truck, I doubt the owner put anywhere near that kind of money into it.

For the newbie/Slick driver wannabes, flash paint jobs like those will drag out the checkbook every time, no matter what indignities have been done in the name of performance.

I'll keep driving my old beat up stockers - they didn't cost much, still don't and they get left alone in the parking lots.

The Ford Parts look sharp. If it was all Ford all the way through I'd say mid 20's. The Corvette parts are worth some money to the right person but is the best way to get the most money for them. With that said $19K

Im a bit new here so im just going to guess an even 22K. The truck looks great, but i sure would want it to be an ALL FORD Truck if im spending that kind of money. I wish I could have that kind of money! I must say though, slicks look mighty darn good in red

And I'll lowball Brian at $20,400. I just searched past results and there's no rhyme or reason to it. They probably picked the right location to sell it.
Mecum evidently doesn't research the consignor's claims; they sold a nice 63 Falcon convertible in Anaheim- "full frame off restoration", probably just LEFT it off

It doesn't state if it were an original Hi-Po car.
Found a non-supercharged version of my wife's roadster for about four times what i consider mine to be worth; i may have to hold on to it untill the right buyer appears
Anyway, just over 20 grand, and I won't be surprised if it brings less than that. Cross-breeding usually drags down the market, and that's some ancient drivetrain in there.
