step side bed

Post by donald luster »

Hey just found me a good stepside bed. Could some one measure all the lumber from left side to right side. I need to know how wide each board is and how much is given to the grooves for the steel bed strips. My bed dont have any wood in it and I have some nice cherry lumber to put in it and dont want to miscut it. Thanks for any and all help. Don

Did you mean to say you found a "flareside" bed? Or are you planning a Chevy bed for your truck?
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

measure between bolt holes, bolts go between boards not through.

If restoring a ford was easy, chevy guys could do it.
