chevys are cheaper to build. ford cost a little bit more.dodge cost more than both. i had a 73 ford f100 with hardly any after market parts on or in the motor.it had a 390 and a c6 and 3.50 gears. it ran in the mid 13s. i had a friend who had a dodge charger with im not sure what he had in it but it ran in the 12s. both wer full size vehicals. on the road driving around town, im afraid they had to shut some pepole up and show a few that thier cars wer not as fast as they thought. what is this love afiar with some people and chevys? i can take a 351 windsor and a 350 and put the same kind of parts in both, and still run quicker with the 351 w.
