Need to get a set of cylinder heads for a 65 f-100 352 V8. Just wandering if the heads from a 360 or 390 would work?
Got the same question into Tom of flashback f-100s to find out also.

Re: Cylinder Heads
Yes they all interchange until you get into the 427 exotics like high and medium risers and tunnel ports.
look for a set of C8-AEH castings and have hardened exhaust seats put in when you do the valve job.
Do not pay extra for the Mustang style GT heads because you don't need them.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

Re: Cylinder Heads
Thanks for the info uncle skip. new to the form, but been reading it for a couple of years know. Hi to all.
Re: Cylinder Heads
I've got a set of the C8AE-H heads to sell but shipping would be a bit expensive depending on your location.
Re: Cylinder Heads
Lots of different Ford heads that will work, depending where you want to end up. Several differences in intake and exhaust ports and sometimes tricky on matching intake and exhaust ports to manifolds . On a 352 to get the compression up, you would want a small chamber head. COAZ D is the smallest and C3ae C 406 head comes in next, to the best of my knowledge. However, there appears to be some differences in the C3ae C heads, and it has been discussed some on the FE forum. Both of these heads are hard to find , the COAZ-D heads being the more rare of these heads. I have a set of C3AE heads that were worked several years ago, but I doubt hardened seats were installed. Nice heads, but painted an ugly shade of green after being built. Shipping is killer on heads and would cost in the 100$ dollar range. I would take what I paid for the C3"s which was 500$.
