Bad day
Bad day today! While doing some reassembly I was installing the heat cable, and while tightening it to the bracket I heard a POP!!!! and the nut just turned freely. I snapped the chrome bezel off the shaft on it. I said some real choice words with that mess up. I guess I will need to go to the junk yard now and see if I can find another one.
Re: Bad day
If that is what you consider a bad day, you've lived a sheltered life. There is a new one on evilbay, but there are different ones for different style heaters.

Re: Bad day
I know the feeling; been waiting for Rick to start re-producing the bed trim again. I finally found some in new condition, never installed. It arrived Monday, all bent to sheet, with several scratches even though sealed in the original plastic.
