Hello fellow Slicksters, My name is Scott and I am a new member from Las Vegas, This is not my actual build thread, it is only a teaser, but I thought I'd share a sneak peek.

On to business:

I will post a few pics here but ultimately, I will start an actual build thread in the next few weeks.

This was the day I brought her home







Front end torn down with my mini-me and partner in crime striking a pose



92 spot welds to get dash out!!



Front rails stripped ready for new front suspension

Why did you have to remove the entire dash?? (just curious)

P.O. had cut a very crude radio hole. Plus I wanted to seal up the glove box and ashtray and make room for my AC vents! (VERY important to the spouse!) As well as the Vintage Air kit won't fit the way I like with them in place. Final excuse (justification?) Is I want to clean up everything inside as much as possible.

Hmmmm......I'm not even sure if I believe myself!

Also, I just read you posts on the 8' foot bed weight and I agree with your stance. I did the same thing on my first car by dropping a 350 Chevy in a Datsun 240Z and man did it run good. Also I ended up working for General Motors for 30 years and my two classics are Fords, go figure.
