Another new guy

Post by TheTurtleKing »

Hey guys, I just found this site so I though I'd share my '63 f250 and the progress I've made over the past two years. here are a few pictures from the day I got her

and here is her now

Basically nothing worked when I first dug her out of the barn two years ago and as of this afternoon everything works and I plan on picking up a tag and a new set of tires on Friday to have her on the road next weekend.

Now that she is drive-able, I want to focus on making her safer and more comfortable to ride in. I would really like to do a disk brake conversion but haven't seen any for a 3/4 ton 8 lug. Do any of you have any suggestions?

Hints and tricks section. Page two, look for "8Lugs are better than 5".

Wow, the old girl cleaned up good. Bet it took a lot of work to get
her looking so clean as it usually is with trucks in barns with crap piled all
over them. Have fun with it and welcome to Slick 60s! TR
