have a chance to pick one up, with trans attached for nothing. i understand that these were only made a few years and only fit the auto trans they came with and the bolt pattern matches nothing else.i also remember hearing somewhere that a manual flywheel was not made for these?
is there anything besides the carb that mates with any other ford or merc engine?
what is the factory HP and torque figures?
boat anchor or worth picking up?
not sure of engines condition, only that it has not been exposed to the elements.

These came in a lot of flavors. early ones did come with a stick but 61-68 are all automatic and they changed the bellhousing bolt pattern so you can't easily put a stick on it. Hawkrod
