Here are some pics of my work to date. I'm just to the point were I get to start welding and piecing my slick back together. The yellow stuff is an etching primer that has a rust blocker in it....(That stuff is expensive! :shock: ) Hoping to have it finished for slick stock. I have spent the last few months drilling out weld spots and cutting so that I can open up areas that are rusted and closed end. I have already bought all the pieces I need to put it back together except for the 4 pieces that I am having fabricated and could not find. They should be done this next week. Hope some of you enjoy the pics. I know I love seeing pics and get ideas from seeing other pics and progress that many of you have shared.

What brand of primer is that? I will probably want some of that for mine.

WOW! :shock: Thats a LOT of cutting and welding! Looks good! Just be sure that your cab is remains true and square as you patch the floor etc!!

That definitely addresses something that worries me about mine, the surface rust inside the cowl etc. Great way to fix er up right!

:iagree: That's been a concern of mine too, along with the upper portion between the windshield & hood. Most everything else is easily accessible.
Looks like you're doing an excellent job, with lots of room & tools at your disposal. It's gonna be schweet when you're finished. :thumright:

The primer I used was Veriprime from Dupont. They also make a cheaper brand that is called Nation.
