Another newbie

Another rookie on the site,saying hi.
Proud owner of a 63 lwb uni-big window,my gas mizer shop truck(460/c6)

and a 64 swb that is my current project,will be another weed eater with a big block/5 speed ,gonna try for 12 mpg outa this one,
my wifes 2wd 93 Bronco (Lightning)clone ,cool wife
and my slammed 91 2wd bronco-daily driver,and a 72 swb bumpside.

eh... that's NICE!

the slammed '63... did you put in an IFS, or keep the straight axle? If you kept the straight axle, I wanna know MORE!

As you can see in my signature, I have ambition of dropping her to about a 4" fully deflated height. I know I could drop her on the asphalt with an IFS setup, easier and cheaper, but it doesn't do it for me like that.

Thanks,it is actually a 79 camaro frt clip(it was free),but I made ithe frame look like it came from the factory with it,and it drives awesome,like a big 3000lb gokart,i used a 79 bronco tilt column which only took 1 borgeson to get steering complete,just couldnt beat the low buck entry price.good luck with yours.

If not you need to make plans to join us there in late April. http://www.pateswapmeet.com If you need some front end sheet metal let me know. I still have a front clip and hood from the 63 parts truck and the metal is good shape. Plus some other stuff.

Free stuff is always really nice. I wish somebody would toss me a free dropped axle and air ride equipment. Hell for that matter I just wish I could get ahold of the dummy in Phoenix that has an Air Ride he posted on Craig's list a while back...

Actually I would wager your truck is probably closer to 4000. I had my truck on the scale at the scrap yard a while back. Shortbed, 390, C6, spare tire, Very small toolbox, and big ugly bumpers pushed it to around 4060. Eh, all that crap IS pretty heavy. Maybe a normal weight would be around 3000....
