I got one too on the whole issue. Make it to where you have to have some ID that proves you are a us citizen. Maybe redo the ss card with that fact. Do not let non us citizens get them. Then if you are from another country thats fine if you want a job, but you have to be sponsored by the business. Plus you should have some type of alien ID that shows your sponsor. Plus that business is responsible for you and your well being. In other worlds if the person goes out drunk driving and hurts someone the sponsor is liable. The sponsor has to make sure you have a house to live and health care. You make the ones making the money responsible you will probably eleminate the whole mess. Thats why they get aliens in the first place. They have to pay in less since they are not citizens. I blame the politicians for not making real laws and only doing bandaid type laws to look good. I also blame the employers greed on this. The aliens are to blame also but I can see why they do it so they can provide for themselves. I wish some in this country would work that hard to provide for themselves.

THis is my pie in the sky approach to solving the imigration problem.
1) Round up all illegal immigrants in our prisons and send them back to where they came from. We implant a micro chip in them so we can track if they cross the boarder. A small explosive device in the chip might not be a bad idea.

2) I am for giving illegal immigrants a drivers license. However, I would charge them $2000 a year. This would pay for registration of the car and liability insurrance. THis would count as a vaid form of I.D when they go for a job and they fill out an I9 form. And yes they have the money. If it is a factor in getting emplyment the they will get the money

3) Have a honest Guest worker program that would allow some one who wants to come to this country to work be able to do so.

4) Repeal the Constitutional ammendment granting automatic citizenship to those born here. Citizenship of the child should be dependant on the citizenship of the Mother. Right now, San Diego Unified School District sends buses to Tijuana to pick up "american" children to get them to school.

5) No social benifits for anyone until they are legal residents of this country, ie green card or full citizenship.

The migrant population is in my opinion essential to our economy. THey pay their taxes. You can argue that if they are paying taxes they should be able to get some social benifit. Well consider it a penalty for coming here and make it a motivation for becoming a citizen of just go the fuck home.

6) Learn our language and our culture. No explanation needed here. You don't need to be fluent but be able to get your pouint across.

7) Secure our boarders with the National Guard. A sovergn nation that cant' secure the boarders is not a sovergn nation. None of the Bull Shit "lets open our borders from Mexico to Canada and have one currency"

I don't think that's such a good idea. This country learned the ugly truth about such citizenship grandfather clauses after the Civil war. That's why the 14th amendment was created and ratified.

I have an even simpler solution to this problem without changing the constitution or anything, enforce minimum wage laws on non-citizens. The reason illegals come here is because there are jobs waiting for them, and the reason they have jobs waiting for them is that they're willing to work for less than minimum wage. If you make it where any living breathing human being in the US has to be paid at least federal minimum wage then you remove ANY incentive for an employer to hire an illegal alien. If an employer is caught employing illegals and not paying them minimum wage fine them so hard the employer's grandchildren will be paying it.

Its a win win though, employers lose incentive to hire illegals, and what illegals do get hired get paid at least minimum wage.

If America is as angry as I am, you will realize a back-lash so stunning it will literally rock you out of your panties...and preferably totally out of the United States Senate.


The entire immigration bill is a farce...your action only confirms this really isn't about America, it's about self-serving politics....despicable at best.

English should be the "official" language. if you want to learn or speak something else , fine , but they should not be taught in schools instead of English.

only those children born to legal immigrants should be given full US citizenship, they followed the rules and can and should be treated accordingly.
those who sneak in are criminals, regardless of the reason for doing so and should be treated as such with no benefits including for their offspring.

I would of thought English was already the official language of America,what else could it be!. The timing of the report of the vote against English and who voted seems convenient but doesn't mean its not true. Best of luck with the illegal immigrants we cant even stop them coming here in boats let alone on dry land!. What worries me the most is the BLACK TENT brigade wandering around, you don't even know if there male or female let a lone who they are!.
