if only i had a concrete floor to roll one around on. maybe i could use atv tires instead of the hard ones.

G'Day from down under. I have a 63 F250 i am doing up (slowly) & to lift the cab off i moved it off the mounts just enough to get 4 bolts through the floor where the cab bolts go & attached 2 chains diagonaly to the bolts. I then used my engine hoist to lift the cab from the inside. It did still need to be steadied but it worked fine & is now sitting on a steel frame with 4 swivel wheels to make it easy to move.

Hi Alan
No that wasn't me but it sure was a nice truck. I was there that day with the wife & kids could not find who owned the truck. Mine is not on the road yet one soon I hope.
